Working Experience

2 months since the last post. GREAT! And finally, a blog post!!! I'm going to throw confetti's to celebrate my 'comeback' to the blogging world. Harharhar.

So this blog post is mainly about the memorable and unforgettable things happened during the 3 months working period at Genting Highlands.

Many would think that working at Genting must be working at casino cuz all they think is gambling. LOL. Just joking although it's not funny. I work at First World Plaza where you can shop, chill, relax, whatever and etc. I work at here :

Get to know my colleagues! Mei Chen the supervisor, Xiao Ying the asst. supervisor, Ah Ying the permanent worker, Ah Fun the Jess-lover, Simon the most 'ungentleman' in the world, Mei Ling the money-saver, Kah Chun, Ah Siang, Ah Loong, Ming Ming, Katherine, Marcus, Emily and Daphne. :)

15/1 - One day off that day and went shopping with Meesen. Curi-curi tangkap in Cotton On fitting room. Hees. :P

21/1 - The day before CNY eve. Ming Ming came back to work for CNY week. And all of us minus Xiao Ying, went to watch movie after work, I Love HK 2012. A very hilarious movie!! Hahahaha! XD

22/1 - It's CNY eve!!! 3 of us, me, Ming Ming and Daphne, work until 10 that day and we went to watch fireworks in Outdoor Theme Park. But I didn't saw it cuz I have 'reunion dinner' with my sis at Pizza Hut. D: But never mind, they recorded it. Hah!

Since it's CNY, our company sent us CNY snacks!!!!! Yayyy! Finally there's some CNY feel in hostel. Hahaha! :D There's even Chinese mandarin in the fridge! Hohoho!

There's even drinks to top it off! Great! :D

23/1 - First day of CNY, with the red uniform. Preparing to start work, lol. Get 2 angpaus, one from the newly wed Ah Ying and another is from our company.

Huat ahhhh! :D

There's this 'choy san ye' walking around in First World Plaza for a few days giving out fortune cookies. And me, being the TTM one, took one from the choy san ye. Woohoo! I get : The smart thing is to prepare for the unexpected. 懂得未雨绸缪的人是智者.

14/2 - Valentine's Day. Work full shift that day. :L Didn't have any appetite to eat so went to McD with Daphne for their famous Sundae Cone. Harharhar! :D Is my boyfriend handsome? XD

19/2 - Had half-day annual leave. I get it since I'll become a permanent worker next month. Alone in the apartment, watching tv, doing laundry and waiting for the morning shift people to come back. But that 'fatt wen' Marcus sleep right away he came back. :@ Left me alone again.

I almost died cuz I'm very bored!!!!

29/2 - I resigned with Kah Chun. Originally his last day is on 27/3, but something came up, making his last day same with mine. Packed my things and found out I have too much things! :O My luggage burst! And also Xiao Ying gave me her uKimono as present. She said she only used it once or twice only. Thankiu~~

1/3 - Went to Outdoor Theme Park with Kah Chun since we take the same van back. After we warm up with The Flying Chairs, I have some slight headache and that ruined my mood completely. D: Something 'fish' happened when we play Go Kart making my mood became worst even more. Then we have lunch with Emily at Kopitiam. Back to outdoor after lunch and then we play Banana Boat. Whaddafark, I'm completely soaked after the ride and it's cold some more!

Okay, done with the memorable part, ofcourse there's the unforgettable part(s). There's two unforgettable part throughout this 3 months. First, is the problem that we, part time workers had with one of the authorities. She gives us too much stress and even when we do nothing wrong, she will shout at you like there's no tomorrow. Actually because of this person too, I resigned. There's even once she shout at me continuously for 2 hours and I can't stand it anymore and.... I cried. Lol. Whatever she shouted at me was pointless and I even had a witness when she shout at me. She picked the wrong day to shout at me cuz I have bad mood that day. And that day, right after I cried, I decided to resign. I know that I'm too emotional in this case but I just can't take it anymore. Other than she gives me stress, and shouting continuously at me, she's actually a crazy person. Here's the evidence : WHO THE HELL IN THIS WORLD MEMORIZE BAR CODE??? Fuckin yes, SHE MEMORIZE BAR CODE AND SHE WANTS ME TO MEMORIZE IT TOO. My holymamajesuschrist. I'm super famous for my super poor memory and she actually asks me to memorize bar code. She must be out of her mind. And I forget to mention that the shop is big and there's lots of clothes and SHE ASKS ME TO MEMORIZE BAR CODE!? She must be lack of fucks.

Second and lastly, I seriously think that F.O.S is the most fair and square outlet among all the shops in First World Plaza. What boys did, we girls have to do it too. Eg : Climb until the very top in the small store room with/without ladder, move heavy boxes around and etc. What I find the hardest is - to tidy up the store room. Just imagine, a small space with lots of racks, and you have to tidy up the stock racks, one of your leg was standing on the ladder case, and another one was on the wall, trying to make your position stable so that you won't fall, and the lamp was just a few centimeters from your head. Not to mention that you're on the top of the store room, the ceiling. Just try to be in that pose, at that high, for 3 damn hours without a fan or air-conditioner. That will be the 3 hours of hell for you. I think I must sign up for Guinness World of Record since I managed to survived through that '3 hours of hell'.
